The High Pressure CNG Filter model HCF-112 is designed for protecting critical engine components in Natural Gas Vehicles (NGV) from contaminants - which may come from CNG compressors and storage facilities - such as oil, water and solids that can be introduced into the vehicle's fuel tank when being fueled.

The HCF-112 coalescing filter is constructed to withstand operating pressures of 3,600 psi (248 bar), and specifically designed to remove oil, water and solid contamination from compressed natural gas with over 95% removal efficiency of aerosols in the 0.3 to 0.6 micron range.

The HCF-112 filter passed the test on CNG fuel filter performance requirements of ISO 15500-18 as well as ANSI/AGA NGV3.1-1995/CGA 12.3-M95, "Fuel System Components for Natural Gas Powered Vehicles.

CNG Filter Element Model HFE-112

The HCE-112 element composed of an epoxy tube surrounded by three coarse fiber layers. The Inside Layer removes dirt particles first and balanced contaminants particles are coalesced at the Middle Layer. Coalescing contaminants will be drained at the Outside Layer. This filter element is interchangable and suited for PARKER's Filter model FFC-112.
